Achieving Information Dominance in the New Space Race
As the cadence of both commercial and military launches increases, military manning is not surging to meet those demands. Cape Canaveral has seen a 564% increase in launches in the last 10 years. The Velocity team was tasked with identifying methods of leveraging Large Language Models to automate data synthesis and increase situational awareness as range operations while decreasing the total number of personnel on console each mission.

AI + ChatOps Integration
As the 1ROPS team leverages ChatOps extensively, we developed an integrated AI chatbot that effectively establishes an AI coworker that can answer common questions the LLM was trained on.
Tactical Data Cache
In order to effectively deliver an AI chatbot that meets operational standards for accuracy and performance, we established a "tactical data cache" that provides the AI chatbot with a catalog of relevant operational data to index.
Verbal Comms Trascription
Communication in mission control isn't isolated to chat. We developed a tool that transcribes mission control audio directly to provide an overall mission transcript for auto-generated summaries and other AI content.
